VIVOSUN Review: Grow Tents, Tent Kits, Lights & Fans
VIVOSUN builds equipment for growing plants indoors, and the grow tent is where a setup starts. VIVOSUN makes tents in many sizes, along with lights, ventilation, climate gear and controllers sized to fit them. This review covers five of those products, built around the 4x4, the size most home setups use: the S448 tent on its own, a complete 4x4 kit with the light, ventilation and controller included, a light for smaller tents, a clip fan and a tent dehumidifier.

What sets VIVOSUN apart
Tents built as the base of a system. The S448 4x4 Grow Tent has multiple duct ports and cable openings for fans, humidifiers, heaters and AC units, top hanging bars for lights and equipment, and a viewing window so you can check plants without opening a door.

A smart layer you can skip. The GrowHub A22 in the kit and the AeroDrain D12 work with VIVOSUN's app and Smart Grow System, so a light, fan and dehumidifier can follow one schedule. The LumaLight 200W works by its dimming knob alone, and the AeroWave A6 runs on two buttons.

Grow tents
The S448 4x4 Grow Tent is 48 × 48 × 80 in (1219 × 1219 × 2032 mm), about 106 cubic feet. Its walls are hexagon-pattern Mylar rated at up to 100% reflectivity, the shell is 1680D Oxford with a PE reinforcement layer, and it stands on a metal frame with all-metal corner connectors. A removable Mylar floor tray catches spills.
Tent kits
The 4x4 Grow Tent Kit with 400W LED includes the tent, a LumaLight 400 W full-spectrum light, a 6-inch R6 inline fan rated at 390 CFM and under 34 dB, a 6-inch carbon filter and prefilter, 8 feet of ducting with clamps, the GrowHub A22 Wi-Fi controller, five 5-gallon grow bags, a trellis net, pruning shears and hangers.
Grow lights
The LumaLight 200W is a 672-diode full-spectrum panel for 2x4 and 3x3 tents, with 3000K and 5000K white plus 660 nm red and 730 nm far-red. A knob dims it from 25% to 100%, it is rated IP65, and it adds app scheduling with a GrowHub.
Clip fans
The AeroWave A6 is a 6-inch clip fan with two speeds, 90° auto oscillation, a 120° manual tilt and a lever-lock clamp that grips round poles, square frames and flat surfaces.
Climate
The AeroDrain D12 Smart Dehumidifier pulls up to 12 liters of moisture a day and is recommended for tents up to 5x5 feet. It drains continuously through the included hose or shuts off when the tank is full, and it restarts on its own after a power cut.

The bare tent leaves you free to pick each part. The kit costs you that choice but saves the research and the risk of a fan that doesn't fit the filter.

Who VIVOSUN fits
VIVOSUN suits home growers building a first tent who want parts that match without measuring flanges, people with a tent in a living space who care about light leaks and noise, and anyone who wants the light, fan and humidity on one app. Vegetable, herb and houseplant growers in humid basements or summer climates will get the most from the D12.
It is a weaker fit if you need whole-room dehumidifying: the D12 is sized for tents up to 5x5 feet. It's also a weaker fit if you want a single light for a 4x4 from the LumaLight 200W; that panel is sized for 2x4 and 3x3 tents.

- 2x4 or 3x3: the LumaLight 200W is sized for these tents. VIVOSUN's chart calls for a 4-inch inline fan, and a clip fan such as the AeroWave A6 keeps air moving around the plants.
- 4x4: the S448 4x4 Grow Tent with your own light and a 6-inch fan, or the 4x4 Grow Tent Kit with 400W LED with everything included. Add a clip fan at canopy height.
