VIVOSUN builds its range around the tent, and this page covers its standard 4x4 two ways: the S448 tent on its own, and a kit that puts the same tent in one box with a light, ventilation and a controller. Both use a 1680D Oxford shell, hexagon-pattern Mylar walls and a removable floor tray.
How to choose a tent or kit
Check the space first
The 4x4 is 48 × 48 × 80 in (1219 × 1219 × 2032 mm), about 106 cubic feet inside. VIVOSUN says it's slightly wider than a standard 36 in (914 mm) refrigerator. Mark a 4 × 4 ft square on the floor with painter's tape, leave at least 1 ft (305 mm) around it for ventilation, and measure the ceiling, since ducting leaves through the top. If 80 in (2032 mm) is too tall, our grow tent sizes guide covers the 72 in (1829 mm) options.
S448 4x4 Grow Tent: tent only
The S448 4x4 Grow Tent suits growers who already own a light and fan or want to pick each part. VIVOSUN fits it with vent ports in three sizes (two 4-inch, two 6-inch and five 8-inch), cable openings for fans, humidifiers, heaters and AC units, top hanging bars and a viewing window. VIVOSUN's fan chart pairs this tent with a 6-inch inline fan.
4x4 Grow Tent Kit with 400W LED: everything in one box
The 4x4 Grow Tent Kit with 400W LED adds a LumaLight 400 W full-spectrum LED, a 6-inch R6 inline fan rated at up to 390 CFM and under 34 dB, a 6-inch carbon filter and prefilter, 8 ft of ducting, the GrowHub A22 Wi-Fi controller, five grow bags, a trellis net and pruning shears. The fan, filter and ducting already share one size, and the A22 puts the light and fan on one schedule in the VIVOSUN app.
A quick way to decide
- You already own a light or fan: S448.
- First tent, no gear yet: the 4x4 kit.
- You want app scheduling from day one: the 4x4 kit.
- Humid room: either one, plus the AeroDrain D12.
Both still need a clip fan at canopy height, such as the AeroWave A6. For the full picture, read the VIVOSUN review.
